Qualifications / Job experience

• Qualified training in comparable work fields, at least basic knowledge of storing and F&B operations
• Ability to understand business targets
• Basic knowledge of U.S.P.H.. standards
• Basic knowledge of the English (and if possible German) language

Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for the work flow in the assigned area of store keeping.
• Daily duties at Provision Master’s (or possibly Assistant Provisions Master’s) order.
• Responsible for all operations to be carried out with the utmost economy consistent with the agreed quality standards
• Responsible for the compilation of deliveries to the respective departments.
• Delivery of the required goods to the departments.
• Safeguard of the “access to authorised personnel only” – policy with regard to all stores
• Strict adherence to the “first in, first out”-method.
• Implementation, introduction and regular checks of logs and check lists
• Close cooperation with the Provision Master, including reporting at regular intervals and timely attendance (written reports!) of all conflicts and disturbances in the work flow.
• Strict adherence (and her supervision) to all agreed regulations (USPH/HACCP, ISM/ISO, SQM, TUIC Service standards), especially with regard to security, environment and hygiene regulations in his/her area of responsibility
• Notification and handling of all relevant (unusual) events, such as changes in consumption but also damages, repairs, security violation etc.
• Inventories
• Loading and suitcase carrying assistance
• Service assistance (only in special cases)
• Cleaning and sanitizing of his/her work area including equipment; using/wearing PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Assistance at securing goods to be seaworthy packed and stored safely even in rough seas
